Driver Denies Allegations From Female Passenger
A driver has strongly denied allegations from a passenger, a student, claiming he engaged in improper behavior during their ride.
Recently, a Facebook user named Daniella Charlize warned others against booking the driver, Jerricho Narvaez, accusing him of inappropriate actions while driving. The post garnered various reactions from the online community,
Narvaez publicly clarified his side of the story. He explained that he did not engage in any such act, stating that he is a family man with two daughters and has deep respect for women.
The driver also shared that he struggles with health issues such as asthma and high blood pressure. These conditions, along with feeling full after a heavy meal, could explain why he was breathing heavily that he believes was misinterpreted as inappropriate behavior.
Narvaez further emphasized that at no point during the ride did he expose himself or act improperly. According to him, the entire interaction was brief, lasting only about five to six minutes.
He also insisted that Grab’s in-car Audio Protect system, which was active during the ride, should confirm his innocence.
Currently, his account has been temporarily suspended while the ride-hailing company investigates the matter. Narvaez expressed his willingness to cooperate fully and even meet with Charlize and her family to address their concerns.
Despite the challenges, Jerricho called for a fair investigation and urged the public to refrain from targeting either party, allowing the matter to be resolved properly. Grab Philippines has confirmed that it is looking into the case to ensure fairness and accountability.

“Nabasa ko po ang post ni Ms. Daniella Charlize tungkol sa akin. Gusto ko pong sabihin na DI AKO NAG-MASTURB*TE sa ride at hindi ko po gagawin ang karumaldumal na gawaing ito sa publiko.
Ako po ay isang pamilyadong tao at may dalawang anak na babae kaya matindi po ang aking respeto sa kababaihan.
Ako po ay overweight, may hika, at high blood. Kakagaling ko lang mag-hapunan at dahil sa kabusugan ay hinihingal. Naiintindihan ko kung paano ito maaring ma-misinterpret ni Ms. Daniella. Pero uulitin ko po, hindi po ako NAG-MASTURB*TE.
Mapapatunayan rin po ni Ms. Daniella na kailanman ay wala akong nilabas na ari sa kasagsagan ng ride. Gusto ko lang din iklaro na ako po ay hindi nag-sorry o nag-panic nung ako ay hinarap at kinonfront ni Ms. Daniella Charlize dahil wala naman po akong ginagawang masama. Mas nagtaka lamang po dahil bigla silang nagrequest bumaba. Kinamusta ko rin po sila kung bakit sila nagpapababa. Papatunayan po ito ng Audio Protect recording ni Grab na kasalukuyan na rin po nilang nirereview. Halos 5 to 6 minutes lang po sila sa loob ng aking sasakyan.
Ako po ay may katabaan lamang kaya iba ang tunog ng aking hingal na maaring mainterpret bilang “squishy sound”. Pasensya na po kung ito ay nakakabahala sa iba.
Naiintindihan ko kung bakit ako ay pansamantalang deactivated ngayon sa Grab. Hindi pa po ako nakakabiyahe hangga’t hindi matapos ang imbestigasyong isinasagawa. Kung kinakailangan, willing po akong harapin at kausapin ng personal si Ms. Daniella at ang kanyang ama.
