77-Year-Old Grandfather in Maguindanao del Sur Underwent Free Circumcision Program
A 77-year-old grandfather in Maguindanao del Sur, took part in a unique free circumcision program offered by the local government.
Circumcision is a medical procedure where the foreskin, the fold of skin covering the tip of the penis, is removed. It is done for different reasons, including religious, cultural, or health purposes.

Recently, an elderly man fulfill his longtime wish through free circumcision program in Maguindanao del Sur. The program is part of their ongoing Medical Outreach Program, aimed at providing free health services to residents, regardless of their age or circumstances.
The elderly man had always wanted to get circumcised but hadn’t been able to because of limited opportunities and healthcare access in his area. With the support of the local government’s initiative, he finally got to fulfill this long-time wish.
He wasn’t the only one who joined; other men, including a 40-year-old farmer, a 31-year-old, and a 21-year-old resident, also participated. All of them expressed gratitude for the free services, mentioning that the program offered great relief, especially since they didn’t need to spend money on the procedure.
The Medical Outreach Program aims to provide essential health services like circumcision, consultations, and other basic medical services to people living in remote areas of Maguindanao del Sur.
The free circumcision programs are often held during the summer months, but seeing older adults take part was a rare sight. It emphasizes the importance of providing opportunities for everyone, regardless of age.
