Jewel Mische Touching Return to the Philippines W/ Her Family
JEWEL MISCHE – Former actress Jewel Mische makes a heartfelt return to the Philippines with her family, embracing a meaningful mission that touches lives.
Jewel Mische delighted fans by announcing that she and her family are currently in the Philippines. The US-based star revealed on Instagram that they arrived in the country last October for ministry work they couldn’t pass up.
Mische posted a touching photo with her American husband, Alister Kurzer, and their three daughters during a flight to Davao, writing, “Our family has been keeping a little secret! We are in the Philippines! We have some ministry opportunities here that we just couldn’t pass up.”
Since their arrival, the family has felt the warmth of the local community, enjoying spiritual blessings and a variety of Filipino dishes. Mische even playfully remarked that she loves being back so much she doesn’t want to return to the US.
While the family is based in Davao for their commitments, Mische expressed how much she misses her friends in Luzon. She shared her hope to reconnect with them before their planned departure in a few weeks.
“Hindi pa lang po ako makapag-reach out dahil sa mga commitments namin dito simula pa pagdating namin, saka nahihiya din po ako doon sa iba sa inyo. Pero sana mangyari pa din before we head back [to the US],” she said.
Mische and Kurzer, who got married in 2015, are proud parents to three daughters: their eldest born in 2018, followed by their second in 2020, and their youngest in 2021.
Last year, Mische opened up about her decision to leave showbiz, highlighting her desire to prioritize her family and spiritual journey. Her return to the Philippines has been met with enthusiasm from fans, who admire her devotion to her faith and loved ones.
