Business investors allegedly could not reach out to Gigi de Lana after this happened
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared his source’s revelation that singer Gigi de Lana received complaints from her business investors.
Gigi’s singing career skyrocketed because of her viral song covers. She found success in holding online concerts through social media platforms like TikTok. Through this, her popularity opened more doors for her.
She has done provincial shows and concerts not just in the Philippines but also abroad. Gigi also had an acting project in the past.
With her hard work, especially for her mother who passed away last year, she received admiration from the public. However, Gigi de Lana also went through some controversies.
She was accused of being “pa-diva.” Allegedly, the actress had an attitude problem and she showed this when she did a show in a province. Last December, a rumor surfaced that Gigi was banned from appearing in any ABS-CBN show. It was alleged that she committed a breach of contract.
The singer supposedly had commitments with Star Magic but she did not fulfill these. It was also alleged that even GMA was not allowing her to appear in any Kapuso show.
In a recent episode of Showbiz Update, Ogie Diaz’s YouTube show, he shared that he received complaints from people who invested in Gigi’s G Cosmetic business. Based on the publication material posted on the Facebook page of the said company, Gigi is the owner and co-founder. Some posts also showed that she was the CEO or chief operating officer.
Ogie shared screenshots of messages from those who complained. Allegedly, Gigi promised to promote the products intently to encourage the public to buy but she was endorsing other products similar to the products of G Cosmetics. The complainants also claimed that the company issued bounced checks.
One of the complainants, enumerated the promises to them that the company did not fulfill, such as certain products like the rejuvenating set.
Ogie Diaz said that it is a good thing that Gigi de Lana will answer this issue. He also said that the complainants already asked for help from Raffy Tulfo through his public service program but they weren’t heard. This is the reason why the complainants brought this up to the talent manager-vlogger.
As of this writing, the singer hasn’t spoken yet about these allegations against her.
