Danica Sotto recalled her fondest with her stepdad
Actress Danica Sotto shared a heartfelt message for her Tito DV Savellano, the husband of her mom actress Dina Bonnevie.
Dina confirmed on January 7 through the Kapuso show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda that her husband passed away at the age of 65 and the cause of death was an abdominal aneurysm. After this sad announcement, Dina and her family received messages of condolences from friends and loved ones.
Many celebrities also showed love and support for Dina amid this hard moment in her life.
The seasoned actress shared a post on her Instagram announcing the schedule for public viewing which will take place on January 8-11 from 10 AM onwards at the Aeternitas Chapels & Columbarium – Chapel of Hera (7th floor) in Commonwealth Avenue, Batasan Hills, Quezon City.
This will continue at Savellano Residence in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur on January 12-16. The burial is scheduled for January 17 at Cabugao Cemetery.
In an Instagram post on January 8, Danica Sotto expressed a message for her stepdad. “Thank you, Tito DV, for being a loving husband and a kind stepdad to us,” she said. Danica also said that she will truly miss the food trips she had with her Tito DV and how he laughed and his facial expression when they would tease her mom.
“I didn’t expect that last Christmas would be our final one with you. Sana napasalamatan pa kita. I will never forget your kindness,” the actress said. Danica Sotto also said that her Tito DV was a man of few words but he never failed to show his love through his actions. “We will miss you, Tito,” she added.
In the comment section of Danica’s post, actress Kristine Hermosa, the wife of Oyo Sotto, also expressed her message to the late politician. “We will miss you, Tito DV… you have a good heart,” Kristine wrote.
