Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas shared the lesson she learned in the past year in an interview before 2024 finally ends.
Ai-Ai was one of the showbiz personalities who was included in the list of celebrity breakups in 2024 because she and her now-estranged husband Gerald Sibayan broke up. Previously, the comedienne shared that Gerald broke up with her through a text message.
At that time, Gerald was in the US while she was in the Philippines, fulfilling her showbiz engagements as she is currently under contract with her home network GMA.
Ai-Ai delas Alas had to back and forth to work here in the country and also fulfill his duty as a wife to Gerald Sibayan who has been staying in the US.
Despite what happened in their relationship, the comedienne said that she would do nothing to revoke her estranged husband’s green card application. Amid this issue, rumors surfaced that Gerald’s new girlfriend was already pregnant.

“To love myself more, at saka ‘yong kailangan sa isang babae kahit durog intact mo ‘yong dignity mo,” the Comedy Concert Queen said.
Ai-Ai also shared who she had connection with while having this tough time in her life. “Siyempre parati si God. Parati everyday prayers, prayers, prayers maximum level. Tapos, mga kaibigan kong totoo. Anak ko, nandyan. Ikaw, nandyan. And ‘yong mga luma kong kaibigan, nandyan lahat,” she shared.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Kapuso host Kim Atienza shared his thoughts on Ai-Ai delas Alas and Gerald Sibayan’s breakup. He pointed out that age really matters when it comes to relationships.
