Gary Valenciano will push through with his concert on Sunday
Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano confirmed that his December 22 concert at the Araneta Coliseum will be happening.
Gary is celebrating his 40th anniversary in the entertainment industry. In his entire career as a singer, performer, and even actor, fans have been accompanying him in his journey. He is known for his electrifying performances and despite some health issues, he never fails his audience.
However, an unexpected thing happened on December 20, during the first day of his concert. He had to cut short his concert because he was not feeling well. Before the show started, he vomited many times.
Gary Valenciano had to receive medical attention after that and fans have been very understanding of his condition. Following what happened, anticipations were high whether the day 2 concert would push through or not.
On December 22, before noon, the official page of Gary Valciano posted an update saying that the concert would be happening. “I will be at the Araneta today. No weapon formed against me will prosper,” Gary had this message for everyone.
The confirmation post also stated, “It’s a go! (praying hands emoji). Today’s Sunday December 22 show will be pushing through.”
The singer also thanked everyone for the prayers and those who bought tickets for being patient and understanding. His team also apologized for the inconvenience while everyone was waiting for this announcement.
“The decision of Gary came with much prayer. We will see you later tonight 8 PM at Smart Araneta Coliseum for Gary V Pure Energy One More Time!” the post stated.
The P-pop King SB19 is one of Gary Valenciano’s guests for tonight’s concert. Previously, the seasoned performer shared that it was pressure for him to collaborate with the quintet but he expressed admiration for their talents and how they give value to their craft.
