Eugene Domingo shared what she felt having scenes with seasoned stars
Actress Eugene Domingo talked about working with award-winning actresses Judy Ann Santos and Lorna Tolentino in the movie Espantaho.
Eugene has been in the industry for quite a long time now. She has showcased her versatility in acting with the different roles she portrayed. Over the years, she has proven that she can pull off comedy and even heavy drama scenes.
Eugene has the chance to work with the horror film Espantaho, directed by Chito S. Roño and features Judy Ann and Lorna as the lead stars.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Eugene Domingo shared that she has been a fan of Direk Chito since the time when he was still using the name Sixto Kayko in the movie Private Show in 1984.
Eugene shared that she has proven the director’s reputation that artists should always be on their toes when working with him. However, she did her great.
“Pag lumampas ka sa iyong mark, naku, dyusko! Makakarinig ka na sana’y hindi ka na lang nabuhay. Parang ganun. O kaya, ‘Lupa, lamunin mo ako!’ Ganun, pero siyempre, ginalingan ko! Kasi Theater Arts student ako, dapat magaling ako,” the actress shared.
When it comes to sharing the same frame with Judy Ann and Lorna, Eugene had nothing but praise for her co-stars. She said that she was overwhelmed by the presence of the award-winning actresses.
Eugene also said that Juday and Lorna clung to their characters even though the camera was not focuced on them and when the focus was on them, they gave even more.
“Pero you respect your co-actor. Kahit wala sa iyo yung camera, you should be there para su-support ka. And they were very consistent. And by the time yung camera, nakatutok na sa kanila, oh my God! May binigay pa, times one hundred,” she shared.
Eugene Domingo added that she was mesmerized watching how her co-stars work and she really respects them because only seasoned actors can do that. “These are Chanda Romero, Judy Ann Santos, Lorna Tolentino. Come on! Di ba?!” she stressed.
Aside from Espantaho, Eugene is also part of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 entry And The Breadwinner Is which features Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda.
