After some brands dropped her, Maris Racal received support from the one that she endorsed.
ABS-CBN actress Maris Racal is backed by this beauty brand she endorsed after the other endorsements dropped her.
People were hooked by the issue surrounding love team partners Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings. This issue is rooted in the screenshots that Jam Villanueva, the ex-girlfriend of the actor, posted publicly. The screenshots contained the private and intimate messages of the love team and apparently hinted at infidelity.
Maris broke her silence regarding the issue and expressed that she felt embarrassed.
“I don’t know where to go. Whenever I go out whenever I walk I feel like a woman naked. Hindi ko alam ano gagawin ko. I’m so embarrassed,” Maris said. Hours after, Anthony also spoke, and his brief video was mainly intended to apologize to the people who were affected by the issue.
Following the issues that surfaced, Maris allegedly lost some endorsements. A cosmetic brand dropped her shortly after the issue went viral and through a statement, the product prefaced its commitment to what it stands for: “inclusivity, authenticity, and making the right choices—even when they’re tough or uncomfortable”.
A coffee brand removed their faces from their social media pages and a beverage product containing her face got her poster removed.
Amid the losses, one brand stuck with Maris. Her latest endorsement, the Snail White, reposted a photo of her and a meaningful caption was with it and the caption says, “To err is human, to forgive is divine, keep glowing.”
Many people commended the brand as they believed that despite the issues and allegations, the actress needed a second chance. She deserves the repercussions of her actions but she also deserves to be given a second chance.
