Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales have been friends for many years
Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee talked about his friendship with actress Erich Gonzales who has been away from the showbiz spotlight for quite a while.
Enchong and Erich were loveteam partners. However, unlike other loveteam partners, what they had became a strong friendship and went to the romantic side. They were known as the EnRich tandem.
They first worked together in the 2009 TV series Katorse. The Kapamilya stars also starred in the movies Paano Ko Sasabihin” (2009), “I Do” (2010), and “Once a Princess” (2014).
These past years, Erich Gonzales chose to have a life away from the glitz and glamour of showbiz when she tied the knot with her non-showbiz husband Mateo Lorenzo back in 2022. The last TV project that the actress did was that year with the series La Vida Lena. From time to time, she would share photos on her Instagram page and was spotted at a beauty clinic.
In a recent social media post, based on the article in Inquirer, Enchong Dee recalled the friendship he has with his friend who is currently inactive in showbiz. The actor simply captioned his post with “Since 09.”
Enchong shared a slideshow of his throwback photos with Erich and he used the song Ikot by Over October. The song has these lyrics: “Ikaw lang at ikaw ang sinisigaw/ Ng puso kong ‘di mapakali/ Ikaw lang at ikaw ang sinisigaw/ Pag-ibig ko’y sana mapansin.”
Their fans had different reactions to this. Some said that they admired the “platonic relationship” between Enchong and Erich while some were anticipating their reunion project.
