Regine Velasquez garnered support from her fans amid a negative comment
Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez has this fiery statement against a basher who accused her of not loving her fans truly.
Regine has been in showbiz for many years already. Her voice has inspired many younger singers in the Philippine entertainment industry. Her fans span from her generation to the present generation.
The seasoned performer continues to share her music. Although she admitted in a past statement that this is no longer her time and younger artists are occupying the top spots of the music industry, her fans continue to rally behind her and show support for her every show and concert.
However, despite her status in the entertainment industry, Regine Velasquez is also not immune to negative comments on social media, just like a recent bashing she received from a netizen.
A popular showbiz site shared a screenshot of a netizen’s negative comment on Regine. The netizen accused the Asia’s Songbird of just loving her fans when she has a concert. “Lab nea lung fans nea pag concert szn,” the basher commented on a post about “we listen and we don’t judge: Regine Velasquez edition.”
In her reply to her basher, Regine stressed that she never asked anyone for money and that she would just invite people to watch her concerts but she is not forcing anyone.
The singer also said that when she would ask people to listen to her song, she does not make it forcibly and if people don’t want to listen, it is not a problem for her. “Hindi rin naman kita pinilit na hangaan ako. You decided to do that I didn’t ask you to. But you saying these things as if ikaw ang bumubuhay sakin ano yun??” the Asia’s Songbird said.
Regine Velasquez also stressed that the basher has a lot of expectations of her but that person does not even know her personally.
