Frustrated Customer Criticizes Lumpia Vendor for Lack of Filling
LUMPIANG WRAPPER – A frustrated customer criticized a lumpia vendor for lack of filling, saying, “first time ko ma scam sa pagkain.”
Recently, the Facebook group called “IQBS INFANTA REAL NAKAR BUY & SELL” shared the post of an anonymous participant regarding a lumpia that appeared to be mostly wrapper with barely any meat inside. The post elicited reactions from the online community.
The customer expressed their disappointment, mentioning that they felt shortchanged after paying P100 for a tub of lumpiang Shanghai containing 12 pieces. According to the post, the filling seemed to amount to just about a spoonful of meat distributed across all the pieces.
This left the customer feeling like they had been scammed, especially since they had been looking forward to enjoying a flavorful snack.
Some netizens sympathized with the buyer and agreed that vendors should ensure the quality of their products. Others, however, pointed out that increasing costs of ingredients might have forced some vendors to cut corners to stay competitive.
Despite the strong criticism, the uploader clarified that they were not trying to ruin the vendor’s reputation but simply wanted to emphasize their experience. They urged the vendor to improve their product and give customers better value for their money.
