Carlo Aquino is ready to be a father again
Kapamilya actor Carlo Aquino shared the reaction of his daughter Mithi to his wife actress Charlie Dizon.
Carlo first became a father in 2020 with his former partner social media personality Trina Candaza. Although their relationship lasted, they were able to have a good co-parenting set-up.
Now, Carlo is happily married to Charlie. In a previous interview, the actor said that he is more motivated now that he is a married man. He also shared that he and Charlie are planning to have their proper honeymoon because they weren’t able to do this after their wedding.
In a recent interview, based on the article by entertainment writer Anna Pingbol in Abante, Carlo Aquino is now different when it comes to press conferences. Before, it was said that the actor would immediately leave but now, he would graciously talk to press people.
“Nag-mature na rin siguro. Saka, wala, eh. Iba na ang mindset ko ngayon,” the actor laughingly responded to what was noticed about him. He added that a major influence in this change in him is his wife Charlie.
As his wife was mentioned, the actor was asked if they were ready to have their own baby. “Oo. Hindi naman kami nagpipigil or anything. Kung mabe-bless, edi, thank you,” he said.
The actor also shared that his wife is ready to be a mother as she is not getting any younger. Carlo said that Charlie is not new in taking care of children as she was the one taking care of her “pamangkins” when they were in the US.
The actor added that Mithi likes Charlie. “Okey silang dalawa. Minsan nga, hinahanap siya sa akin [ni Mithi], ‘Where’s Tita April?’ Ang sarap lang din sa pakiramdam,” Carlo Aquino shared, adding that they hoped they were blessed with their own child someday.
Meanwhile, the actor shared that he always feels that his bonding time with Mithi is not enough. These past months, he has been doing several movie projects that occupied most of his time. He wants to spend more time with his daughter and it breaks his and Mithi’s hearts every time they say goodbye to each other.
