Cristy Fermin talked about Ken Chan and the case filed against him
Veteran showbiz insider Cristy Fermin said that Kapuso actor Ken Chan was told by his legal counsel not to speak anymore about the estafa case filed against him.
A warrant of arrest was already released against the actor. However, he cannot be found at home. Rumor has it that Ken already went abroad.
The legal counsel of the complainant stated that the actor allegedly did not fulfill the business deal after the complainant gave the Php 14 million investment.
Following the warrant of arrest that was released against him, Ken Chan broke his silence. He released a statement through a social media post. The actor denied the accusation against him. He also stressed that he did not steal the money from the investor and the business materialized.
Mark Wei, the former business partner of the Kapuso actor, reacted to this. The businessman stressed that Ken’s statement showed his lack of knowledge of the law. Wei also challenged the actor to face them if he was really innocent and bring this matter to the right forum.
In a recent episode of Cristy Fermin’s show Cristy Ferminute, she talked about the statement released by Ken Chan. The veteran showbiz insider said that the actor’s legal counsel had no idea about the statement he released. “Sinabihan na siya…kaya lang huli na noong sabihan siya. Nagawa na, e,” Cristy said.
She added that different comments have been expressed about this and more complaints are coming since complainants were given a chance.
Cristy also said that Ken should’ve not used social media for this kind of issue. “Wala ‘yan sa social media. Nasa piskal ‘yan, nasa korte. […] Hindi na dapat mag-post pa si Ken Chan. Lalo lang siyang nadidiin,” she added.
