Nadine Lustre received mixed reactions because of this photo
Actress Nadine Lustre shared an endorsement photo just recently on her Facebook page and this did not sit well with netizens but social media personality Xian Gaza defended her.
With her celebrity status, Nadine is among the most effective brand ambassadors nowadays. She has endorsed various products and services throughout her career in showbiz. Even those products that she is not directly endorsing went viral just because she was photographed with them, just like her photo with a bottle of Mang Tomas.
However, the product that she was directly endorsing received negative reactions. The actress shared a post endorsing an online casino.
Nadine Lustre received mixed reactions from the online community. Some showed support and said that there was nothing wrong with what she posted but some criticized her.
On the other hand, Nadine was defended by Xian Gaza against her bashers for endorsing an online casino, based on the article in Bandera.
The social media personality, who is also a self-proclaimed “Pambansang Marites,” shared his open letter to Nadine’s bashers. He said that lately, Nadine seldom does projects and her talent fee is just “barya.”
Xian pointed out that Nadine has financial needs and has to support other people as well. He also said that he couldn’t see the point of bashing being thrown at the actress for endorsing online gambling.
“Brand ambassadress lang yung tao. Napakalaki ng offer. Yung lahat ng kinita niya from June 2022 to September 2024 ay kulang pa sa binigay sa kanya para sa isang project na ‘to,” he stressed.
Xian also said that these bashers are being too much “woke.” He added that the actress is not destroying a family with this endorsement. “Grabe naman kayo. Nang-scam ba siya? Nanloko ba siya ng kapwa? Hindi naman,” the social media personality said.
He also stressed that people can boycott that platform if they don’t want it but they have no right to judge Nadine Lustre for endorsing it. The actress is yet to react to this issue.
