John Lloyd Cruz talked about being a father to Elias
A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz quipped about his co-parenting dynamics with his former partner Cebuana actress Ellen Adarna.
John Lloyd and Ellen’s past relationship was blessed with an adorable boy named Elias. After their breakup, there was no drama on social media, unlike other controversial showbiz breakups. Eventually, they found new love with their respective partners.
Ellen is now married to actor Derek Ramsay who is also close to Elias while John Lloyd is happy in his relationship with visual artist Isabel Santos.
John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna were also able to have a good co-parenting setup. In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, the A-list actor was asked about being a father to Elias.
JLC said that he is learning a lot from his son. It seemed that Elias is the parent and he is the child as he continue to learn and discover a lot of things about himself also. He also said that he and Ellen have no problem when it comes to their setup.
The A-list actor quipped that their lives are too peaceful to the point that it is boring already. “Sobrang swerte ko. I’m very lucky. I don’t have any problems with my son, with our schedule. Everything is smooth. It’s a boring life. Sobrang boring ng buhay ko. It’s true,” Lloydie said.
He knows that this is not the same thing that is happening between other former couples and that is why he is grateful that he and Ellen were able to find a way for everything to be fine.
John Lloyd also admitted that at the beginning, there were struggles but fortunately, they were able to iron that out. “With co-parenting, it’s not just limited to the real parents. Sino ba yung tumatayong parent sa anak mo na makakausap mo or makakabatuhan mo? And that’s OK if yun ang diskarte mo. It’s your orchestration. Give it time,” the actor shared.
At first, John Lloyd Cruz admitted that he tried to impose what he thought was right but eventually, he learned and the result was beautiful. “So it’s really boring. There are no problems. Seriously,” he added.
