Chloe San Jose accused a showbiz news outlet of spreading misleading news
Social media personality Chloe San Jose claimed a fake account of Sophia delas Alas messaged her and commented on her post but the daughter of Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas responded to this.
The issue was prompted by Chloe’s comment on Ai-ai’s breakup with her estranged husband Gerald Sibayan. In a social media post, the girlfriend of Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo commented on Ai-Ai and Gerald’s breakup. To recall, the comedienne took the side of Carlos’s mom amid the issue in their family.
This did not sit well with Sophia delas Alas. She called out Chloe San Jose and said that if she was brave, they should meet in Manila. Showbiz news site PEP reported this and Chloe commented that it was a fake account pretending to be Sophia.
“You’re spreading misleading news pep.ph, the account that messaged me and commented on my post was just a FAKE account of AiAi’s daughter, Sophia,” Chloe said, adding that the account did not acknowledge her message when she said that Sophia could confirm that it was really her by messaging her on Instagram.
PEP stated that Sophia has two Facebook accounts and the one she used to send a message to Chloe was the account with her married name. The showbiz news outlet also stressed that they are Facebook friends with the daughter of Ai-Ai, so they know if the account is fake or not.
In response to what Chloe claimed about the FB account, Sophia has this answer in a message to PEP, “Too lazy to respond Tito. I’m in Korea. I don’t want to waste my time arguing with her.” However, she confirmed that it was she who really sent the message to Chloe San Jose.
Sophia delas Alas also stressed that Chloe’s “actions are sickening” and this prompted her to send that message. As of this writing, Ai-Ai delas Alas has not shared her statement yet regarding what the social media personality said.
