Miss Universe 2024 Crown, Some Details About The “Light of Infinity”

Here are some details about the new Miss Universe 2024 crown, the first Filipino-made crown.

MISS UNIVERSE 2024 CROWN – The first Filipino-made crown will be worn by the winner of the pageant’s 2024 edition.

This year’s Miss Universe pageant will be held at the Arena CDMX, Mexico City, Mexico, on November 16, 2024. Reigning queen Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua will be crowning the new queen at the end of the event.

Based on a previous article regarding the details of the Miss Universe, the pageant will have two phases: the preliminary phase featuring swimsuit and national attire segments, and the crowning of the winner.

Another pageant rule has been recently introduced. Based on the new rule, the pageant representative must be born in the country they represent.

Apart from the new rule, a new crown was also introduced. It was Filipino-made and it is called “Lumiere de L’Infini” or “The Light of Infinity”. This was made by the international brand Jewelmer, a brand known for their South Sea pearls which the new crown was adorned with.

“Countless hands have contributed to this masterpiece — from Jewelmer’s dedicated pearl farmers to the Filipino master craftsmen — making it a striking emblem of the magic that transpires when man works in harmony with nature,” the brand said.

In a new video, the process was shown as to how the crown was completed from scratch.

The final product has 20 pearls spread out in a golden and diamond pattern and a pearl in the middle appears like a sun-like centerpiece with more diamonds in its “rays”. It was a statement of sustainability, heritage, and the timeless allure of South Sea pearls.

The crown shimmers with every pearl and gold accent that makes it up.
