Here are some revelations of Aiai Delas Alas about her estranged husband.
Actress-comedienne Aiai Delas Alas made some revelations about Gerald Sibayan after confirming their separation.
It’s been several days since the reports about comedienne Aiai Delas Alas and Gerald Sibayan’s separation surfaced online. Recently, in an interview with Boy Abunda, the comedienne herself confirmed this heartbreaking event in her life that she is currently facing.
She will never forget October 14, 2024. Gerald broke up with Aiai through a text message which she received two hours after 12 AM in the morning. She was here in the Philippines while he was in the United States and she remembered how difficult it was for her to process everything and accept what he’s been asking from her – freedom.
Ever since that day, they never saw each other. As for her, in order to maintain her dignity and self-worth, she did not stay and did not force herself on him. She let him without asking for any explanation.
She was asked if it’s because of a third and her response was, “Aahhh, bilang asawa, di ba ang mga asawa malalakas ang [pakiramdam]? Ako, ramdam ko meron. Ramdam ko. Gut feel. Pero it doesn’t matter kung meron o wala. Kasi nung sinabi niya na firm na siya sa decision, wala na naman akong ilalaban, di ba?”
According to her, Gerald’s reason for calling it quits was because he wasn’t happy anymore and he wanted to have children. From the start, the issue about her being not able to have children anymore because of her age was clear. But this time, it was used by him to separate from her despite her efforts before giving him a baby.
About her gut feeling about him having a third party, she recalled that in 2019, he cheated on her. This incident started all her trust issues and she feels like this past was sometimes the reason why she was a nagger at him.
“So, parang may trust issues na ako. At siguro, isa yon sa minsan hindi ko alam na pagtalak ko sa kanya. O minsan, yung hindi naman mahigpit, pero yung tanong na, ‘Nasaan ka na? Sabi mo, 12 midnight nandito ka na.’”
