Here’s an update about the Typhoon Marce from PAGASA.
TYPHOON MARCE UPDATE – Here’s the latest about the typhoon from PAGASA which has an international name Yinxing.
LIFE-THREATENING CONDITIONS CONTINUE OVER THE NORTHERN PORTIONS OF CAGAYAN, APAYAO, AND ILOCOS NORTE AS āMARCEā MAKES ANOTHER LANDFALL OVER SANCHEZ-MIRA, CAGAYAN
This is based on the 11 PM update from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) regarding Typhoon Marce. According to their post, the center spotted within the vicinity of Claveria, Cagayan.
The strong typhoon has a maximum sustained winds of 175 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 290 km/h moving westward at 20 km/h.

The Babuyan Islands and the northern portions of mainland Cagayan, Ilocos Norte, and Apayao may experience life threatening-conditions due to typhoon-force winds, storm surge inundation, and torrential rainfall.
Marce may weaken in the next 12 to 24 hours but the possibility for the typhoon to become a super typhoon is still not ruled out.
