Carlo Aquino wants to do this for Charlie Dizon
Kapamilya actor Carlo Aquino talked about his married life with his wife actress Charlie Dizon.
Carlo and Charlie’s connection came unexpectedly for many showbiz fans. The public has first seen them with a sweet atmosphere back in December 2022. Dating rumors circulated after photos of them sitting closely beside each other surfaced online.
It was in January last year when Carlo admitted his relationship with Charlie. Then, rumors about their wedding circulated last May. The couple opted not to announce anything publicly.
Eventually, it was confirmed they tied the knot last June. Five months after their wedding, Carlo Aquino was asked in a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, about his life now as a married man.
He said that he has a different focus now and he has a source of inspiration. Carlo shared that he has a goal for Charlie.
“Married life.. siguro mas nag-ano ako, nag-concentrate ako sa… Hindi ko naman sinasabing hindi ako nagko-concentrate noon, pero iba lang yung motivation ngayon, di ba? Kasi gusto kong mabigyan ng bahay si April (Matienzo, real name of Charlie), yung mga ganon. Iba lang talaga yung focus. Tsaka mas inspired,” the actor shared.
Although they have been married for many months now, the celebrity couple was not able yet to have a proper honeymoon because of their busy schedule.
After their wedding, they only had a short trip to Boracay and Taiwan. The actor shared that his wife wanted to have a Christmas village experience somewhere in Europe. This is what they are aiming for next year as they are currently busy with their respective schedules.
He told his “love” that they would work first and then, they could start their honeymoon and start growing their family.
Carlo Aquino also shared that he is glad that his four-year-old daughter Mithi was able to spend time and bond with Charlie Dizon. It has been one of his goals that his daughter and his wife will have a good relationship.
