SWING STATES 2024 POLLS – Here is an update on the counted votes for US presidential election candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.

The United States is about to have a new president. Currently, the counting of votes that will determine the next chief executive of the country is ongoing. Republic Party’s Donald Trump and Democratic Party’s Kamala Harris are taking the 1st and 2nd spots in the ongoing counting of votes.

The swing states 2024 is currently taking the attention not only of the Americans but countless people across the globe. A swing state refers to a state in the United States where two (2) major political parties have the same levels of support among the voters.

In the 2024 presidential elections, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin are among the swing states 2024. The polls have closed in all these states considered as battleground states.

Based on an ongoing counting of votes, former United States President Donald Trump who is carrying the banner of the Republicans is taking the lead. As of this writing, Trump has garnered 49,312,241 votes already or 52.5% of the votes counted.

Kamala Harris of the Democratic Party is challenging the looming victory of Trump that may take him back to the U.S. presidential seat. Harris 43,527,553 votes or 46.2% of the votes counted.

Trump and Harris have tight races in Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Arizona which is one of those states considered as swing states 2024 has 11 electoral votes. In 2016, Trump won in Arizona but lost it to U.S. President Joe Biden in 2020.

Georgia has 16 electoral votes. In 2016, Trump won in Georgia but Biden secured most of the votes in the state in 2020. The same fate happened in Michigan while Nevada has always supported the Democrats.

The critical battleground for Donald Trump and Kamala Harris is Pennsylvania which has 19 electoral votes. In the months leading to the election, Trump has visited the state several times and he even held a rally in Reading and Pittsburgh. In 2016, he won in Pennsylvania but lost it to Biden in 2020.
