Kapamilya actress Julia Montes is having a TV comeback through “Saving Grace” and here’s a teaser of this upcoming series.
ABS-CBN’s “Saving Grace” is the 10th adaptation of the popular Japanese drama series which will also mark the teleserye comeback of Julia Montes. This is the Philippine adaptation of the acclaimed Japanese series “Mother”.
This grand project by Dreamscape Entertainment promises an emotional and roller coaster journey of the characters, especially Montes’ role – deeply resonant and challenging.
“Saving Grace” is based on the 2010 Japanese drama “Mother”. This is the story of a teacher who developed a close relationship with one of her students who was abused by her mother. Some of the powerhouse actors joining Montes in this gripping drama include Sam Milby, Janice de Belen, Jennica Garcia, Christian Bables, and the Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
Montes is going to be the teacher, Jennica will be playing the young girl’s abusive mother, Christian is the lover, Janice is an ally of Julia’s character, and Sharon is Julia’s character’s adoptive mother.
A teaser has been finally released and in the post, the caption said, “Paano nga ba nasusukat ang pagmamahal ng isang nanay?”
The series PH adaptation will start airing on November 28 on Prime Video in the Philippines and over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
As seen in the teaser, there’s a promising compelling storytelling story between Julia who will “kidnap” Grace after seeing her struggle with a hard and physically painful life with her mother.

Last September, Sam and Julia headed to Puerto Princesa, Palawan to begin the shooting for the series. They were with Zia Grace, a new child star who is portraying the role of the battered child.
