The lady netizen, named “Keshaxxx,” posted a screenshot of her conversation with a suitor who unexpectedly asked her to contribute to the bill.
In her story, she explained that her suitor invited her out, promising to treat her. She hadn’t suggested the date or the place to eat, it was all his idea. At the restaurant, he recommended a medium-rare steak, which she hadn’t tried before.
Excited, she ordered and enjoyed her meal, not expecting the bill to be a shocker. The guy paid the bill amounting to P7,000. Eventually, her suitor suddenly hinted that they should split it. She felt surprised, as she thought he was covering the expenses he had initially offered.
The woman noticed a sudden change in her suitor’s attitude when she turned down his request for a kiss after the date.
Curious about whether her experience was normal, she took to Facebook to ask if splitting the bill was fair in this situation or if she should move on from him. She mentioned that her post was just for opinions, not to start any drama, and even hoped it would be shared before Halloween.
The page also commented that the guy actually saw this post and sent the receipt. The latter mentioned that they officially stopped dating and the girl never paid a dime.
