Jake Cuenca talked about his relationship with Chie Filomeno
Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca revealed that his family is supportive of his relationship with actress Chie Filomeno.
Jake and Chie already had a connection in the past but this did not bloom into a romantic relationship. Last year, they confirmed that they started dating. The actress stressed in a statement that she is not Jake’s rebound girl. To recall, they reconnected after the actor’s breakup with actress Kylie Verzosa.
The couple just enjoys their “low-key” relationship. They don’t usually post photos of each other on their social media pages.
In a recent article by entertainment writer Jun Lalin in Abante, he shared that Jake Cuenca fondly answered questions about his relationship with Chie Filomeno.
He also shared the time when he chose gifts for Chie while he was in Japan for a taping. The actor revealed that his family is supportive of their relationship. “Ang maganda pa, sinabi ni Jake na tanggap na tanggap ng kanyang pamilya ang kanyang girlfriend,” the writer shared what about the actor said.
However, when asked if he is ready to get his relationship with Chie to the next level, Jake said that the actress is still young and still has a lot of things to do when it comes to her career. Jake said that they are not in a hurry.
One thing that the actor also highlighted about his relationship with Chie is that there is no jealousy between them. Previously, the couple already stated that there is no problem with them if one would do intimate scenes with other onscreen partners.
Meanwhile, Jake Cuenca is set to do movie projects with Prime Video and Netflix. The actor recently renewed his contract with his home network. He signed a new three-year contract with ABS-CBN Studios.
