They did a lot of research before doing this and after some significant considerations, they decided to do it in the Philippines. She looked for another way to solve her health woes after her mom suddenly passed away and despite not being there, she expressed that she can feel her mother especially during her operation days.

One of her biggest considerations is her daughter. She would want to play with her and as long as there are still ways to make her condition better, she will do it so she can spend more time with Amila.

“Hindi ako papayag na may mangyari sa akin na ang dami kong regrets, ang dami kong sana sa buhay,” Angelica said following her second surgery.

After sharing her second surgery, in her new video, the actress shared her recovery journey starting from the first day since they were out of the hospital.

They stayed at her condo in the city and all throughout her recovery. Her husband businessman Gregg Homan was there all the time from her surgery to recovery taking care of everything for her including their daughter Amila.

As part of her recovery, she started going to therapy and she is vocal about how the 2nd surgery lifted the pain she suffered from for two years. On the third out of the hospital, she can walk better but her movement remains a bit restricted. She still needed support for walking.

While her left hip gave her relief, they were still looking for ways to lengthen the life of her right hip. Several days post-op, she can walk but not for long, she can cook, and do some light activities.

She’s swiftly recovering fueled by her will to be fully healed but she said this in the video, “Still talagang iniinda ko pa rin yung right side ng hips ko at least hindi na parehas. Hindi na parang bibigay ang buong lower body ko dahil sa sakit na nararamdaman ko.”
