With the years she spent establishing her name in the international fashion scene, Heart Evangelista earned the status of being a “global fashion icon.” She is now working with different international luxury brands, a constant guest at fashion shows and events.

The Kapuso actress has been featured in various fashion magazines as well, not just in the Philippines but also abroad. She was hailed as the top influencer at the Spring/Summer 2025 Paris Fashion Week. The fashion influencer garnered $10.6 million in media impact value (MIV).

In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, Heart admitted that there is a certain pressure that she feels being called a global fashion icon.

“I’m very flattered, but I’m very pressured. The reason why I joined Fashion Week was because I was pressured about ratings. To put a number or ranking makes it a little bit bittersweet for me,” Heart said.

For her, she is a vehicle for fashion brands to be brought to normal people. Heart said that walking on the runway was never her dream. She always aimed to be “translating that look into real life, and how a normal person would wear it.”

Heart Evangelista is set to launch her limited series Heart’s World which will showcase the behind the scenes of her stint in the recent Paris Fashion Week.
