Boy Abunda was asked about the show of Kris Aquino
Queen of all Media Kris Aquino announced through a social media post that she will be having a new show and this was what King of Talk Boy Abunda said about this.
Kris has been inactive in showbiz for many years as she had to focus on her medical condition. She went to the US and stayed there for two years to receive medical treatments.
From time to time, she would share glimpses of her life in the States and how she continues to fight for her health. In September, she returned to the Philippines and it was noticeable that she was getting healthier than her previous condition.
In an Instagram post that she shared just recently, Kris Aquino talked about the latest update about her health. She revealed that she had a cancer scare as her mother former President Cory Aquino suffered from this.
With this, she had to go through tests and fortunately, it was found out that she was cancer-free. In the same post, Kris thanked her former home network ABS-CBN, and teased her upcoming show that will be released before 2024 ends.
The Queen of all Media did not elaborate on the concept of the show but she said people will be able to watch her [present journey.
In a recent article by entertainment writer Gorgy Rula in Pang-Masa, he shared that Boy Abunda was not able to see Kris Aquino personally. “Hindi talaga nagtutugma. Minsan, hindi siya puwede. Mahina siya. Minsan naman, inuubo naman ako. Hindi puwede,” the King of Talk shared.
However, Tito Boy said that he and Kris talk to each other daily and he admitted that he was the one who negotiated with ABS-CBN for Kris’s show. For now, the King of Talk said that he does not know what show is this. “Hindi ko pa talaga alam e. Wala akong idea kung ano ‘yung show e,” he said.
Boy Abunda also said that he is not sure if Kris Aquino’s condition will be able to sustain this show.
