Vehicles of Camella Subdivision residents in Naga City were damaged and some are still missing amid the flooding caused by Typhoon Kristine.

Several cities and provinces in the Philippines are currently dealing with heavy rains and strong winds due to Tropical Storm Kristine. Amid the typhoon being within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), several areas are in deep flooding.

Bicol region which remains under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 according to PAGASA is one of those that are greatly affected by the storm. The following areas are also under the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2:

  • Cagayan Valley
  • Ilocos Region
  • Central Luzon

The heavy rains in Naga has caused several canals to overflow and contribute to the flooding in the city. The landfall was expected either in Wednesday or Thursday but the raining started as early as Tuesday.

The flood in Naga has devastated the city. A shopping mall in Naga City was hit by flood and the evacuees who were at the building for safety had to move to the second floor of the building due to the flooding.

Aside from the evacuees inside the shopping mall in Naga City, the residents of the Camella Subdivision in Naga were also affected by the flooding. Several vehicles of Camella Subdivision residents were damaged by the flood.

Based on a post of the Philippine Star, multiple vehicles of Camella Subdivision residents were seen stumbled and damaged after the flood subsided. Other reports also entailed that there are still missing vehicles.
