The new show of Ogie Diaz has the same title as the GMA show’s segment
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz reacted to the TiktoClock QuizMosa segment title which is also the title of his new show on TV5.
Ogie is set to have his TV comeback through a talk show with a twist. Before venturing into vlogging and having his YouTube talk show, Ogie did some entertainment talk shows, teleseryes, and movies.
The talent manager-vlogger announced this new show on his Showbiz Update vlog. However, promotions also surfaced that the Kapuso morning game TiktoClock will have a new segment that is titled QuizMosa.
With this, in a recent episode of Showbiz Update, Ogie Diaz speaks about this similarity in the title. He said that as far as he knows, MediaQuest was the company that owns the QuizMosa copyright.
“E, paano ‘yon, Nay? Dalawang ‘QuizMosa’ ang nag-eere?” Ogie’s co-host Mama Loi asked. The talent manager-vlogger answered, “Siguro pagandahan na lamang.”
When Mama Loi asked if it was just fine that two shows have the same title, Ogie said that he had no idea how this matter would work. Then, he mentioned that he is friends with TiktoClock hosts comedian Pokwang and seasoned TV host Kim Atienza.
With this, Ogie said that he would just let MediaQuest deal with this matter. Ogie’s show is set to air on October 21, after the timeslot of the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga on TV5.
This is a game show and prizes will be given to contestants while showbiz “chikas” and updates are offered to the viewers.
Meanwhile, aside from this new TV show, Ogie Diaz hinted at the good news that they received. He mentioned that three cases against them were dismissed. He did not elaborate on this but it was previously reported that actress Bea Alonzo filed cyber libel complaints against him and his co-hosts Mama Loi and Mrena.
