Alden Richards was asked if he is courting Kathryn Bernardo
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards said that what he and Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo have is “really deep.”
Kathryn and Alden are now known as the KathDen tandem. Their onscreen partnership started when they worked together in the 2019 blockbuster film Hello, Love, Again. Early this year, showbiz fans and the online community started noticing their togetherness.
Alden attended Kathryn’s private island birthday celebration, the birthday celebration organized by her loved ones, and her house blessing. With this, speculations circulated that there is more than just friendship between them.
Previously, talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz mentioned in his Showbiz Update vlog that Alden Richards is preferred by Kathryn Bernardo’s family as her suitor. Then, just recently, Ogie said that Kathryn’s mom Mommy Min Bernardo really likes Alden for her daughter.
In a recently released interview by Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the King of Talk asked Alden if he was already courting Kathryn. The Asia’s Multimedia Star had an indirect answer to this, based on the article in Bandera.
He just said that what he and Kathryn have is really deep. “‘Yung meron po kami ni Kathryn ngayon…is I should say, really deep and since I got the chance to really her now personally, ang dami ko pong na-discover sa kanya or similarities and differences on how we view life,” Alden said.
The Kapuso actor also said that he really appreciated everything that Kathryn opened up to him. He is also thankful that the actress welcomed him into her life and that he was able to meet her family.
When asked if Kathryn formally introduced him to her family, he said that he is able to visit the actress at home if his schedule allows it.
In a recent interview for their second movie together, Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo said that they are really close now. However, Direk Cathy Garcia-Sampana quipped that because of Kath and Alden’s closeness, she was “nahirapan” while they were filming.
