Rider Who Pays Only P50 for Full Tank Attacks Gas Station Worker
A gas station worker in Tagum City was attacked by a rider after a dispute over P50 payment for a full tank of fuel.

The incident, captured on CCTV, showed the rider slashing the worker’s face, causing him to fall to the ground. Despite the injury, the worker managed to stand up and run away from the suspect.
The victim was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment and is currently recovering. The suspect initially fled the scene but was later apprehended by authorities.
According to the police investigation, the rider requested a full tank of fuel but only paid P50. The worker agreed to the payment but noticed the rider acting suspiciously. As the worker checked the motorcycle’s license plate, the suspect suddenly attacked him with a sharp object, striking his face.
The suspect, on the other hand, claimed that he was provoked by the worker, saying that he was shouted at, which led him to react violently.
The suspect is now facing charges of attempted homicide for the assault on the gas station worker. This incident has raised concerns about the safety of workers in gas stations, particularly in handling confrontations with customers.
