Television personality Willie Revillame formalized his Senate bid.
One of the last-minute COC filers was Willie Revillame and after making it official, he talked about what will happen to his program.
TV host Willie Revillame wants someone with a good heart to be in the Senate and this is one of the factors that made him decide to make his Senate bid formal and official. On the last day of the filing, Willie filed his certificate of candidacy to run for senator in 2025 election.

“Kung makikipag away ako sa Senado, makikipag away ako para sa mahirap,” Revillame said. He will fight for the welfare of the poor as it has been his commitment to help them and give them hope.
Before the official filing, Willie asked for prayers and the day after this, he signed up his COC and became one of the last-minute COC filers.
Revillame is now 64 years old and he is running as an independent candidate. He may not be a lawyer or he may not be someone who finished his studies but he believes that in serving the people, what one needs is to have a good heart and that is what he will be bringing to the upper chamber.

As much as we all know, he has a program airing daily and as indicated in the rules of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), he can make an appearance until February 10, 2025. This means, he still has five months left to be in his program and after this, he will be proceeding to do his campaign.
He will adhere to this rule and if given the chance that he will win, he will make sure to return to his show. This was the same case with Tito Sotto. While he was serving as a senator, he was also working in Eat Bulaga.
