Alexa Ilacad shared the same frame with Kim Ji Soo
Kapamilya actress Alexa Ilacad shared what it was like meeting South Korean actor Kim Ji Soo for the first time.
Ji Soo signed a contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center after being part of the Kapuso afternoon series About-Kamay Na Pangarap. Prior to this, he made his first appearance in Black Rider.
He was also given a chance to star in the movie Mujigae which is directed by Randolph Longjas. Alexa also stars in this film. In a previous interview, Ji Soo talked about working with Alexa. He said that the actress was really professional and he noticed that even though she is younger than him, she has a lot of experience when it comes to acting.
In Mujigae, Alexa Ilacad played the character of Sunny, someone who can’t see herself having a child of her own. The actress said in a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, that she can’t see herself becoming a mother anytime soon.
She understands other women’s choice not to have a child. “I get it! I totally get it. And that’s okay. I think now, we’re more open to living our lives the way we want to live without fear of judgment from other people,” the actress said.
She added that women do need to do things that are not according to their will just to conform to the rules made by society. “It’s you who will suffer in the end,” she said.
When asked about Kim Ji Soo, Alexa Ilacad shared the time when she first met the South Korean actor.
“When I saw Ji-soo for the first time, he’s so tall. I think he is six (feet) something and I am so small so kapag tinitingnan ko siya nakatingala ako talaga and I didn’t know if he spoke English, so I was afraid that there was gonna be a language barrier, something like that,” the actress shared.
Alexa Ilacad also said that the actor looked serious like his wearing his game face. Then, they were put into a scene that was like a workshop for them. She had to break the ice between them.
The actress also said that the actor was very nice and as they went on, Ji Soo opened up and started goofing around with others people on the set.
