It looks like beauty queen turned fashion influencer Pia Wurtzbach has been receiving attention for the wrong reasons. Her posts reflected huge engagements but it appeared that it was from the recent fashion issue she was involved with Style Not Com.
To recall, the buzz about Wurtzbach and Style Not Com started when the beauty queen initially used a video from Style Not Com without indicating proper credits. Many people did not like this and accused Wurtzbach of stealing content.
She re-uploaded her post but it was already too late as many people online were able to get screenshots. It also made netizens question her credibility. They believed she faked her attendance at one show in New York Fashion Week (NYFW).
The Miss Universe 2015, amid the buzz and fashion controversy, shared in one of her posts that she indeed missed a show. However, it still did not take away the fact that she used the video that was already posted on Style Not Com’s Instagram page three days prior.
Adding more salt to the wound, netizens remained abuzz as there was accordingly no accountability from her. These netizenns are still undone by the issue and are still demanding proof to show that she got an official invite.
Recently, Style Not Com shared a series of statements about the fashion week which included scenes and activities only those who attended can relate to but one of the statements has caught attention online.
It said, “INSERT A PHOTO OF YOUR FASHION SHOW SEAT WITH YOUR NAME ON (BUT< ONLY IF YOU ARE IN THE FRONT ROW)”
Most commenters assumed that this particular part could be for Wurtzbach.
