Cristy Fermin Claims Vilma Santos and Sons Luis and Ryan To Seek Government Posts in 2025
VILMA SANTOS – The actress-politician and her sons, Luis Manzano and Ryan Recto, will run in the 2025 Midterm Elections according to Cristy Fermin.
The May 2025 Election is fast approaching. This October, individuals who want to run for a government office must file their Certificates of Candidacy (COC). Countless Filipinos await the filing of the COC to see who have finalized their election plans.
Previously, several political parties have started airing their bets in different government positions. The grand alliance of five (5) political parties in the Philippines have announced the senatorial slate that President Bongbong Marcos endorses in the May 2025 Midterm Elections.
Countless Filipinos also await who are the showbiz celebrities who are in the pursuit of entering public service in the political arena. Recently, in an episode of Cristy Fermin’s Cristy Ferminute in 92.3 Radyo5 TRU FM, said that Star for All Season Vilma Santos and her sons, Luis Manzano and Ryan Recto, will run in the 2025 Elections.
According to Cristy Fermin, her source claimed that a lot of people in Batangas are happy about the decision of Vilma Santos who has an exemplary record when she served as the mayor, governor, and congresswoman of the province.
Vilma Santos will allegedly run for governor of Batangas while Luis Manzano will run for vice governor. According to Cristy, her source said that Ate Vi’s youngest son, Ryan Recto, will run as congressman of the 6th District of Batangas.
During the program with Romel Chika, he said that it is a good vibe to think how the mother and sons will campaign. It will show their bond and how they love each other.
“Makikita mo paano magmahalan, ‘yung samahan ng mag-iina ang makikita mo rito, yung pamilya na makikita mo na gusto magsilbi sa kanilang constituents,” she said.
The people of Batangas are reportedly the ones who are pushing for Ate Vi to seek public office again and it might be the sign that the actress-politician was looking for. In case there are no changes in the alleged plan of Ate Vi and her sons, they are expected to file their COCs this October 3.
Previously, it was rumored that Luis Manzano left Rainbow Rumble for politics. The father of Lucky, Edu Manzano, has also previously aired his side on Luis’ political plans.
