Zanjoe Marudo will embark on a new endeavor
Kapamilya actor Zanjoe Marudo is set to run for party-list representative this coming 2025 elections.
Zanjoe has done a lot of projects in the entertainment industry. He did movies and TV series. This established his name in showbiz as one of the in-demand leading men. In recent months, Zanjoe played new roles in real life.
The actor became a husband to his wife actress Ria Atayde and eventually, he officially became a father.
In a recent episode of Showbiz Update, the showbiz talk show of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, he shared that Zanjoe Marudo will enter politics. It was said that the Kapamilya actor will be running as a congressman.
He will be representing the ASAP NA (Alyansa Laban sa Substance Abuse Para Sa Bagong Pilipinas Natin) Party-list. Ogie shared Zanjoe’s poster with this message: “Lagi mong tatandaan: Walang pagsubok na di mo kayang lagpasan.”
Ogie said that they are not judging Zanjoe, who or what pushed him to enter politics. The talent manager-vlogger said that as of this writing, it is not yet sure if Zanjoe is the first nominee of this partly-list.
Aside from Zanjoe, Ogie also shared that there had been people who were encouraging veteran actress Sylvia Sanches to run for Quezon City 1st district councilor. The talent manager added that actor-politician Arjo Atayde, will run again as the congressman of the first district of Quezon City.
Amid this issue, Arjo said in a previous report that there was no truth in rumors that his mom would enter politics.
Ogie also mentioned that Luis Manzano is rumored to run for Lipa City Mayor. However, it was also rumored that the Kapamilya TV host will run as vice governor while her mother Star For All Season Vilma Santos.
