BAR Exam Result 2024 – The Supreme Court is expected to release the topnotchers on December 2024.

SC announces that the BAR Exam Result September 2024 includes list of passers and topnotchers. Over 10,502 individuals took the licensure examinations on the first day of exams but dropped to 10,493 on the second day.

Supreme Court Associate Justice Mario V. Lopez, Chairperson of the 2024 Bar Examinations Committee headed the conduction of the BAR examinations on September 8, 11, and 15, 2024 in the following local testing centers:

Visayas

  • University of Santo Tomas
  • San Beda University
  • Manila Adventist College
  • University of the Philippines – Bonifacio Global City
  • San Beda College of Alabang
  • Saint Louis University
  • University of Nueva Caceres

Visayas

  • University of San Carlos
  • Dr. V. Orestes Romualdez Educational Foundation

Mindanao

  • Ateneo de Davao University
  • Xavier University

According to Associate Justice Lopez, BAR Exam Result 2024 are expected to be released in December 2024. The Supreme Court Public Information Office will post the exact and official date.

SC is conducting a special en banc session before releasing the official results. This session is the process of opening the sealed envelopes with the names of passers.

The official list of passers will be flashed via widescreen at the Supreme Court’s front yard and on Supreme Court’s official website.

BAR Exam Coverage

  • Remedial Law, Legal and Judicial Ethics with Practical Exercises (25%)
  • Commercial and Taxation Laws (20%)
  • Civil Law (20%)
  • Political and Public International Law (15%)
  • Labor Law and Social Legislation (10%)
  • Criminal Law (10%)

BAR takers must have a general average of 75% and no grade lower than 50% in any subject to pass the BAR examinations. However, SC En Banc may adjust the passing percentage.

The September 2024 BAR examinations are the 122nd licensure exams for all aspiring lawyers.
