Actress Herlene Budol Expresses Gratitude to Doc Willie Ong for his Health Videos
HERLENE BUDOL – The actress gave a message for Doc Willie Ong following his announcement of his cancer diagnosis.
The cancer diagnosis announcement of Doc Willie Ong shocked a lot of people and left countless people saddened but hoping for his recovery. According to the doctor, he was diagnosed with sarcoma, a rare type of cancer and one of the hardest to treat.
Doc Willie revealed that a lump was found at the back of his heart, in front of his lungs. However, according to the celebrity cardiologist, his doctors told him that they cannot perform a surgery as there are too many blood vessels attached to it.
Currently, Doc Willie is undergoing chemotherapy sessions abroad. In his vlogs, the cardiologist and health advocate stressed that he is lucky to have some money and some support thus, he can get the said treatment. However, he also feels for his fellow Filipinos who are stricken with cancer but cannot avail the proper treatment.
According to Doc Willie Ong, his negative thoughts and the bashing that he got from 2022 Elections campaign might be the reasons behind his health condition now. He ran for vice president in 2022 but he finished the vice presidential race as 4th.
Doc Willie was the running-mate of former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno. The latter also placed fourth in the election results. Isko Moreno confirmed having talked to Doc Willie following his cancer diagnosis announcement.
In his vlog, Doc Willie Ong claimed that everything tastes like metal for him but really tries to eat as he will die if he won’t. He is taken cared of by his wife, Dra. Anna Liza Ramoso-Ong, and their children. He stressed that they are the reasons that he will fight for his life.
Recently, actress Herlene Budol admitted that she is one of those who rely on the health videos of Doc Willie Ong. Thus, he wants the doctor to be well citing that he is the “first aid” of countless Filipinoes.
“Lord pagalingin niyo po siya dahil marami po kaming mga sakitin na umaasa sa kanya. Bawal kang manghina (to Doc Willie) dahil ikaw ang ‘first aid’ namin,” Herlene Budol.
The actress also told Doc Willie that the Filipino people loves him and he must get well. She stressed that there are a lot of “Doc Willie Ong fanatics” including her.
“Bigyan kita ng tip Doc Willie Ong, tingnan niyo po yung sarili niyo marami kayong mapupulot ‘dun,” Herlene Budol said.
Aside from fighting cancer, Doc Willie Ong also recently went through “neutropenic sepsis”. It left him in critical condition for four (4) days and even the doctor was asking how he survived.
