Where is Ken Chan now?
A warrant of arrest against Kapuso actor Ken Chan surfaced following a blind item circulated about an actor who went abroad to evade arrest.
A blind item caught the attention of the online community. It was about an actor whose character was eliminated from a series because he was already out of the country and was allegedly escaping from people who filed complaints against him.
Netizens guessed it was Ken. Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz discussed this issue in his Showbiz Update vlog on September 7. He said that the issue appeared to be about the complaints filed by investors in Ken’s restaurant business.
On September 12, Ogie had a follow-up discussion about this. He shared a photo of the document which appeared to be a warrant of arrest against Ken Chan.
The name “Ken Steven Angeles Chan” was highlighted and it is the real name of the Kapuso actor. Ogie said that after they discussed this issue on his YouTube channel, there were people who called him to confirm that they filed a complaint against the Kapuso actor.
It was said that this was about the investments they gave to Ken. Another person sent Ogie the copy of the warrant of arrest and other names in the document belong to the actor’s relatives who were listed as “incorporators.”
Then, another person revealed to Ogie that their investments, with other friends, reached to P30 million. Allegedly, the restaurant business of the actor became the front but he was not able to focus on this.
Ogie also mentioned that Ken’s business partner already departed from him, The business partner was accused of stealing money from the investors.
Then, Mama Loi, Ogie’s co-host, asked if this was the reason why Ken Chan asked his character in Abot Kamay na Pangarap to be terminated. The talent manager-vlogger said that he is not sure about this because this was just stated in a blind item.
Ogie Diaz, like what he shared in his previous vlogs, said that Ken Chan is not answering his message as he wants to ask for the actor’s side of the story.
