KZ Tandingan Feels Jealous After Seeing Text Referring to TJ Monterde as ‘Baby’
KZ TANDINGAN – Singer KZ Tandingan got jealous over text calling her husband TJ Monterde ‘baby.’
KZ Tandingan or Kristine Zhenie Lobrigas Tandingan-Monterde in real life is known as Asia’s Soul Supreme. She rose to fame in the showbiz world after winning The X Factor Philippines in 2012.
She was also awarded Best New Artist at the Aliw Awards in the same year.
KZ and TJ Monterde exchanged vows on August 28, 2020, at The Farm at San Benito in Batangas. The ceremony was magical and intimate, with only a few guests present while others joined via Zoom due to the COVID-19 quarantine restrictions at the time.
Martin Nievera escorted KZ down the aisle, and Ebe Dancel performed for the newlyweds.
The musical duo started dating in January 2015 and got engaged in December 2019. After four years of marriage, they remain childless, sparking curiosity about when they plan to start a family.
KZ Tandingan admitted that she couldn’t help but feel jealous after reading a text addressed to her husband, TJ Monterde, which referred to him as “baby.” While guesting on Melai Cantiveros’ online show Kuan On One, KZ shared how she suddenly got upset upon seeing the message.
According to KZ, the sender had asked if TJ had eaten, and her husband laughed when she asked who it was from.
Since TJ didn’t take her question seriously right away, KZ became even more annoyed. TJ then suggested they call the sender to clear things up. When the call was answered, KZ’s emotions quickly shifted as she realized that the sender was none other than TJ’s own mother, who still affectionately calls him “baby.”
Despite this small incident, the story had a happy ending, with KZ amusing viewers as she shared their funny experiences as a married couple.
