Kate Valdez Refers to Fumiya Sankai as “a blessing” with a “beautiful soul”
FUMIYA SANKAI – Japanese vlogger and artist Fumiya Sankai is called “a blessing, beautiful soul” by actress Kate Valdez.
Japanese actor Fumiya Sankai became well-known after competing in the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother Otso. His humble personality and desire to act as a link between Japan and the Philippines won him the hearts of the Filipino people.
Even though he is not from the Philippines, the young celebrity seems to fit in there. He keeps researching Philippine customs and culture. He declared that the Land of the Rising Sun would always be his home.
Kate Valdez admitted that Fumiya Sankai has told her “I love you.” In an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Kate revealed that her relationship with Fumiya has deepened.
Although they are not officially “in a relationship” yet, Kate acknowledged that Fumiya is also special to her.
“Are you together? Is Fumiya your boyfriend?” Abunda asked Kate.
“Ano Tito Boy, the feeling is mutual. We were just both happy that we exist in this world,” the actress responded.
“One to 10, nasaan ang relasyon n’yo ngayon?” the King of Talk followed up.
“Eight,” Kate replied with a giggle.
The actress couldn’t hide her feelings for Fumiya. She said, “[He is] a blessing, [has] beautiful soul, [and] pure heart.”
Kate shared that she met Fumiya due to her love for anime. They started talking after being introduced by mutual friends. From there, their friendship grew deeper.
In fact, Kate revealed that Fumiya has already told her “I love you.”
“Nag-‘I love you’ na [si Fumiya]?”
“Opo,” the actress answered with a smile.
Kate and Fumiya were first talked about when they recently uploaded photos together at Hong Kong Disneyland on their social media accounts.
