Andi Eigenmann Fires Back at Unsolicited Advice on Daughter Lilo’s Education
ANDI EIGENMANN – Actress-turned-vlogger Andi Eigenmann clapped back at an unsolicited advice about her daughter Lilo Alipayo’s schooling.
Andi Eigenmann is one of the actresses who left the Philippine entertainment industry to embrace a simpler life. She chose to settle on Siargao Island, letting go of the luxuries she once had, and has been living there for several years now.
Andi has been with her partner, professional surfer Philmar Alipayo, for over six years. She has three children—her eldest, Ellie, is from her previous relationship with Jake Ejercito, while Lilo and Koa are her children with Philmar. Despite not being Ellie’s biological father, Philmar treats her like his own when she’s on the island.
Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo’s wedding was postponed, partly due to the sudden passing of Andi’s mother, Jaclyn Jose, who died of a heart attack in March.
Recently, the celebrity mom responded to unsolicited advice about her daughter Lilo’s education, reassuring critics that Lilo is excelling both academically and in surfing.
The actress shared a video on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Sept. 5, showing Lilo confidently riding the waves in Siargao. Eigenmann remarked, “Someone somewhere on the internet told us to put her in school instead of letting her surf,” accompanied by a shrugging emoji.
“She’s doing both, and excelling in both. Thanks very much,” she added, with a hint of sarcasm.

In another post, Andi Eigenmann gave fans a closer glimpse of Lilo’s surfing progress, mentioning how their five-year-old daughter is tackling larger waves and always smiling, even after wipeouts.
“They choose to start most of their mornings this way. A surf sesh, skate sesh or just a nice walk outside with papa and the dogs,” the vlogger added, referring to Philmar. “It’s a good way to get her energized and in the mood for some kindergarten activities at home afterward.”
Andi and Philmar’s also have a son, Koa, while Eigenmann shares an older daughter, Ellie, with actor Jake Ejercito.
