Is Carlos Yulo Considering a Career in Showbiz?
CARLOS YULO – Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo was asked if he wants to enter showbiz.
Carlos Yulo, the two-time gold medalist, is now an inspiration because of his impressive performance at the Paris Olympics 2024. He is also the first athlete to bring home two gold medals and the first gymnast to win at the Olympics.
Aside from being an inspiration, many are also smitten by the athlete due to his cute and handsome appearance. Even when he was just starting out as a gymnast, he was frequently talked about online.
Now that Carlos Yulo has achieved so much, some netizens are curious about his future plans. Some are also asking if he wants to enter showbiz.
In an interview with Luis Manzano, the gymnast champion clarified the rumors about entering showbiz. He said, “Hindi po. Hindi po talaga. Hindi po ako marunong umarte po, e.”

Carlos Yulo also mentioned that he does not currently plan to become a sports host and wants to focus on helping in the field of sports. “Gusto ko related talaga sa sports po. Makatulong po talaga sa community ng gymnastics po talaga. Iyon ‘yung gusto ko. Hindi ko nakikita ang sarili ko na sa showbiz po ako, eh,” he explained.
At present, he wishes to share his knowledge and experiences with young people as inspiration and to help grow gymnastics in the country.
“Ma-share ko ‘yung knowledge ko po and naging experience ko po sa high level po and sa ganitong elite level po. Ma-share ko siya sa mga kabataan. Hopefuly na makarating sila sa ganitong level po,” he said.
Aside from his plans, Carlos will also resume training for the Southeast Asian Games or SEA Games, which will be held in 2025.
