Ella Cruz promised to take legal action against this Facebook page
Actress Ella Cruz slammed the Facebook Page “Ppop latest chika updatez” for sharing a satirical post about her.
On Monday, Ella shared the screenshot of a post with her photo and her supposed reaction to the declaration of “Walang Pasok” due to typhoon Enteng. The actress included a screenshot of Mina Okada’s Facebook profile, one of the page’s handlers.
In her post, the actress called the FB page. She said that she just let the first incident pass but she will no longer tolerate the second one.
“Sa siyam na admin at lalo sayo Mina Okada na hindi kaya maglabas ng tunay na pangalan, na paborito akong topic dahil siguro mataas reach niyo kapag ako post nyo,” Ella Cruz said.
She also said that the people behind this page earn from spreading the wrong information and she will give them the attention they are asking for.
Ella is aware that there was a disclaimer, that this page features “satire.” However, she pointed out that these posts easily get people’s attention and many believe them easily and this saddens her.
She also said that this kind of post is deceiving people who just want to spend time on Facebook. “I don’t get it, i don’t get it ka pa dyan nalalaman. kapag nakuha ko totoong pangalan mo bukas kanta ka ng “Please please please” talaga,” the actress said, apparently referring to Mina Okada whose profile picture was singer Sabrina Carpenter who released the song Please Please Please.
In her following post, Ella Cruz enumerated the names of the page admins. She vowed to put them in jail. The names were just aliases but the actress said that soon, their identities would be revealed. “Pangako. Ipakukulong ko kayo,” she stressed.
