Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Says Pastor Apollo Quiboloy had a Lot of Time to Leave Davao
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President believes that Pastor Apollo Quiboloy has already left Davao and joked that he’s already in heaven.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) intensified their efforts to find Pastor Apollo Quiboloy who is faced with an arrest warrant. There are complaints against the founder and leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ but he refused the Senate hearing set to discuss the complaints.
An arrest order was released against Quiboloy. However, it has been more than five (5) months now and the authorities has yet to arrest the Pastor.
Amid the search for the Pastor, the Court of Appeals extended the freeze order on the assets of Apollo Quiboloy and the KOJC. Initially, the freeze order was valid for 20 days and it covers all the bank accounts and properties under the name of the Pastor and the KOJC.
The Philippine National Police deployed several cops at the KOJC compound to search for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. Countless members of the KOJC tried to stop the authorities but they were not successful in doing so. Drilling activities even took place.
There were speculations that the Pastor is hiding in Davao. However, amid a reward money for information on the whereabouts of Quiboloy, he remains unlocated. Only a co-accused of the Pastor was arrested in Davao City.
Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte spoke on the search for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. The KOJC Leader is close to the Duterte family most especially to their patriarch, former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte believes that Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. According to her, there was enough time that he can leave Davao City as the “grandstanding” in the Senate committee hearing was long.
The Vice President also said that there was enough time for the Pastor to think about leaving or staying. She stressed that it is one thing that the administration must think about.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte was asked about the whereabouts of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. Based on the report, she jested that the Pastor is already in heaven.
“One guess kung nasaan si Pastor Quiboloy? Nasa langit na siya,” the Vice President said.
With regards to the drilling activities of the PNP, for her part, Vice Pres. Duterte claimed she did not see any bunker or underground facility when she visited the compound of KOJC. According to her, she only visited the studio and cafe. She believes that there is an abuse of authority in what was done by the PNP.
“Di na nato kinahanglan isa isahon pa ang nakita nato nga kalapasan nga nabuhat para lang mag-implement og search warrant,” Duterte said.
