PNP Intensifies Search Ops, Apollo Quiboloy’s Lawyer Speaks on the Pastor
Apollo Quiboloy’s lawyer, Attorney Israelito Torreon, claimed that the Pastor has left the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound in March.
Since last week, the Philippine National Police (PNP) is on a boosted search operations in the pursuit to arrest Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. They launched the operations at the KOJC compound in Davao City.
There are rumors and speculations that Quiboloy is hiding in Davao City. However, even amid the presence of a reward money for information that could lead to Pastor Quiboloy’s arrest, the authorities have yet to locate the KOJC Founder.
Only a co-accused of the Pastor was arrested in Davao. The members of KOJC oppose the operations of the PNP but the authorities also refused to leave the compound.
Drilling activities were done inside the KOJC compound as there is allegedly a bunkyard where Quiboloy is suspected to be hiding. Vice President Sara Duterte believes that the Pastor is no longer in Davao City as it has been months since the arrest order was released against him.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Apollo Quiboloy’s lawyer, Atty. Israelito Torreon, also believes that the Pastor is no longer inside the KOJC compound. According to the lawyer, he believes that the Pastor has left the compound since March.
“Yan po ang sinasabi ko always sa ating kapulisan na wala nga siya,” Atty. Torreon said.
Based on the report, Apollo Quiboloy’s lawyer also clarified that the KOJC members are cooperating with the authorities in their operations to search the Pastor. He recalled that the authorities allegedly came at around 4 a.m. in the morning to serve the warrant of arrest and they told the PNP that there was no need to use force.
“We were willing to cooperate. Tapos naghanap tayo nga, ‘Ano po ang dala ninyo?’ May ipinakita siya pero isa lang po ang warrant of arrest na ipinakita niya kay Sylvia Semanas na ang address po ay sa Pasig,” Atty. Torreon said.
Previously, the camp of Pastor Quiboloy revealed that he has a condition with President Bongbong Marcos for his surrender. It is with regards to the cases filed against him in the United States of America.
