Pastor Apollo Quiboloy Yet To Be Located by Authorities amid Massive Search Operations

APOLLO QUIBOLOY – The Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) explained why the Pastor refuses to surrender to the authorities.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) is now on their 7th day of heightened search operations in the pursuit of arresting Pastor Quiboloy. Charges have been filed against the Pastor in the Philippines as well as in the United States.

Pastor Quiboloy was previously invited by the Senate for a hearing on the complaints against him. However, the founder and leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ ditched the inquiry set by the upper chamber.

The Senate decided to cite Quiboloy in contempt. An arrest order was filed against him by the upper chamber. However, the said arrest order was not served even after five months since it was issues.

There are rumors and speculations that Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is in Davao City but only a co-accused of Pastor Quiboloy was arrested in Davao. He has been hiding for months now and many are disappointed that the authorities have yet to locate him.

The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) even announced a reward money for information that could lead to Pastor Quiboloy’s arrest. There are also reward money pledges for information about his co-accused that could lead to their arrest.

The PNP is now on their 7th day of search operations at the KOJC compound in Davao City. Recently, based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the spokesperson of the church of the Pastor who is also his legal counsel explained why Apollo Quiboloy has yet to surrender to the authorities.

“May extraordinary rendition na dadalahin siya sa Amerika without proving his innocence here in the country,” Attorney Israelito Torreon said.

For him to surrender to the authorities, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy has set a condition for Pres. Bongbong Marcos. His lawyer stressed that the Pastor really wants to clear his name in the country as the case against him is “weak”.

The Court of Appeals recently moved to extend the Freeze Order on the assets of Pastor Quiboloy as well as the KOJC. The bank accounts and properties under his name and the KOJC are included in the order.
