Concerned Netizen Shares Disturbing Photo of Student Couple’s Public Display of Affection Inside Restaurant

YOUNG COUPLE – A concerned netizen shared a disturbing photo of a student couple, kissing inside a restaurant.

Public display of affection (PDA) means showing physical affection, like holding hands, hugging, or kissing, in public places. It’s when couples show their feelings for each other in front of others.

How people feel about PDA can differ depending on their culture, where they are, and personal views.

Recently, Joshnel Sayñera, a Facebook user, shared a photo of a young couple, both students, displaying an inappropriate act at a restaurant. The post quickly went viral, sparking various reactions from the online community.

Sayñera described how the young couple, seated at a nearby table, initially appeared very affectionate, hugging and speaking sweetly to each other. However, the conversation soon turned to a troubling topic.

According to the post, the girl asked the boy how much money his mother had given him, to which he replied, P1,000. When the girl inquired what he told his mother to receive the money, the boy confessed that he lied, claiming it was for a school project.

The girl admitted she did the same but received only P500 from her own mother. The boy then professed his deep love for the girl, calling her his “forever.”

The uploader couldn’t help but be shocked, especially by how young the couple seemed. He was disturbed not only by their public display of affection but also by their casual conversation about deceiving their parents.

As their kissing intensified, the couple drew the attention of other diners, many of whom were visibly uncomfortable. An elderly couple seated nearby even bowed their heads, seemingly out of embarrassment or disapproval.
