Gerald Santos released another video about his abuser
Singer-actor Gerald Santos revealed in his recent YouTube vlog that other alleged victims of musical director Danny Tan surfaced after his revelation during the Senate hearing.
Gerald shared his traumatic experience when he was just 15 years old after Sparkle artist Sandro Muhlach filed a complaint against GMA independent contractors Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz who allegedly harassed him.
During the Senate hearing on August 27, Gerald finally revealed the identity of his alleged abuser. He said in a post that after naming his alleged abuser, he felt a certain ease in his being.
On August 28, Gerald Santos uploaded a video on his YouTube channel in which he revealed that after mentioning the name of Danny Tan during the Senate hearing, he received messages from other alleged victims of the musical director.
The singer-actor also shared that he found out that there were victims who were younger than him when the alleged abuse happened.
“Grabe po, grabe ito. Kaya po siguro langit na po ang gumawa ng paraan para mapanagot or mapatigil ang ginagawang kasamaan nitong taong ito,” he said.
Gerald said that he is not in the position to speak for the other alleged victims and it is their choice if they will speak also about what happened to them. He also pointed out that even though there are a lot of issues now happening in the country, this issue is also relevant because abuse and harassment, as well as, the power-tripping that people in positions do, continue to exist.
The singer-actor encouraged the other supposed victims that this is the time to go out and speak. Gerald Santos also shared that together with his legal counsel, they are currently studying their case build-up.
In his vlog, the singer-actor also shared that Senator Jinggoy Estrada offered protection and legal assistance to him. As of this writing, Danny Tan has not released yet a statement regarding the accusation against him.
